Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Munasabat Jo (مناسبات الأردن) app and website at https://munasabat-jo.com (the "Service"), operated by Munasabat Jo (Jordan). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. They are effective from 31 October 2026. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Content Guidelines.
The Service
The Service lets you browse, search and save public occasions, set reminders, follow cities and categories, and submit occasions for review. Occasion information is supplied by organizers and submitters. We review submissions but do not guarantee that any information, date, time, price or location is accurate, complete or current. Occasions may be postponed, changed or cancelled: always confirm with the organizer before you travel or pay.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Give accurate information, keep your password confidential and tell us at once if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account. One person may not keep several accounts to avoid a restriction.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you submit (text, posters, images, video, organizer details). You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, adapt for formatting (such as resizing), distribute and promote that content within the Service and our channels while it is published. You confirm that you created it or have permission to publish it, that it is accurate, and that it follows the Content Guidelines and the law. Submitted occasions are public.
Acceptable use
You must not: break the law or others' rights; post false, misleading, hateful, harassing, obscene or unsafe content; upload malware; impersonate a person or organization; spam or scrape the Service; try to bypass rate limits, security or moderation; or use the Service to collect other people's personal data.
Moderation, removal and suspension
Submissions are reviewed before they are published. We may reject, edit for clarity, hide or remove content, and limit or suspend accounts, if content or conduct breaks these terms, the Content Guidelines or the law, or on a valid complaint. Where practical we tell you why. To report content, use the report option on an occasion or Contact us. Copyright and other complaints are handled as described below.
Copyright and takedown
If you believe content infringes your rights, send us through Contact us (topic: Report content / takedown): who you are, what work is affected, the link to the occasion, why you hold the rights and a statement that your notice is accurate. We review notices promptly, may hide the content while we do, and tell the submitter. Repeat infringers may lose their accounts.
Sponsors and links
Some content is sponsored and is labelled. Links to organizers' websites and third parties are provided for convenience; we do not control them and are not responsible for them.
Events are organizers' responsibility
Organizers, not Munasabat Jo, run and are responsible for the events they list, including safety, permits, tickets, prices and refunds. We are not a party to any arrangement between you and an organizer. You attend events at your own risk.
Our intellectual property
The Service, its design, logo and software belong to Munasabat Jo or its licensors. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes; you may not copy, resell or build competing services from it without written permission.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the Service we will give reasonable notice where we can.
Disclaimer and limits of liability
To the extent permitted by Jordanian law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for the accuracy of information supplied by organizers or users, or for events and third parties. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending your account
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete account; see Account & data deletion). We may suspend or end your account for serious or repeated breaches of these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as content licences already granted for published material, ownership and liability limits, survive.
Changes to these terms
When we make a material change we publish a new version with a new date and ask you to review and accept it in the app or on the website. If you do not accept, you may stop using the Service and delete your account.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the competent courts of Amman have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have.
