Content Guidelines & Submission Terms

Effective 31 October 2026 · Version 1 · Last updated 31 October 2026

These guidelines apply to everything you submit through the app or website and are part of our Terms of Service. Effective 31 October 2026.

What you may submit

Public occasions taking place in Jordan or aimed at people in Jordan: cultural, family, educational, sports, religious, charity, business and community events. Provide a clear title, honest description, correct date, time and venue, the organizer's real name, and a poster or image that represents the event.

Ownership and permission

By submitting you confirm that you created the text, poster, images and video or have permission to publish them, that people who are clearly identifiable in them agree, and that you are authorized to publish the organizer's details (including any phone number or website you add, which will be public). You grant us the licence described in the Terms so we can display and promote the occasion.

What is not allowed

  • False, misleading or fraudulent events, prices or claims, or events that are already over.
  • Hate, discrimination, harassment, threats or content that insults religions, beliefs or communities.
  • Sexually explicit content, graphic violence, or anything unsafe for a general audience.
  • Illegal activities, or promotion of illegal goods and services.
  • Political campaigning or fundraising that is not a lawful, licensed activity.
  • Personal data of private individuals (home addresses, personal phone numbers, ID numbers) unless they have agreed to it being public.
  • Spam, duplicate submissions, unrelated advertising, or posters that are mostly a third party's logo or contain hidden links.
  • Copyrighted material you do not have rights to use.

Religious and cultural sensitivity

Respect Jordan's religious and cultural diversity. Religious occasions must be presented respectfully and accurately, and prayer-time-relative timings should be set as such.

Images and video

Use clear, high-resolution images that show the real event. Videos must be short and relevant. We may resize or compress uploads, and we remove files that are unreadable, unsafe or unrelated.

How review works

Each submission goes to a moderator before it is published. You can follow its status in My submissions: pending, published or rejected. If it is rejected, we tell you why and you can edit and resubmit. We may edit minor formatting or typos for clarity. We aim to review quickly but do not promise a fixed time.

After publishing

Keep your occasion up to date: edit it or contact us if the date, venue or details change, or if it is cancelled. We may hide or remove published content that becomes inaccurate, is reported, or breaks these guidelines. Repeated or serious violations can lead to account suspension.

Reporting and takedown

Anyone can report an occasion from its page or through Contact us. Rights-holders can follow the steps in the Terms (Copyright and takedown).
